Campground with a local flavor
Hobo Hollow Camp Ground and Recreation Area is a true gem, tucked away in Martic Township in beautiful southern Lancaster County. There is an area for campers and a recreation area for baseball/softball and a very nice pool for a refreshing swim after a hot summer day. In the evening many folks like to make a campfire and sit outside their campers and enjoy a summer evening. The baseball/softball field is a true treasure. It is considered by many locals as one of the last reputable softball fields in southern Lancaster County and is a cathedral of youth baseball for the kids in the Penn Manor Youth Baseball Program. There is ample parking for tourists to park and enjoy the campground, and no admission is charged for anyone wishing to tour the campground and its amenities. I highly recommend Hobo Hollow to anyone looking to visit one of southern Lancaster County’s great landmarks.
A get away for locals. There is nothing here for those that want to do the Lancaster tourist thing. Hard to find and not much in the way of amenities. Just a place for locals to get away from the world.
